I had to find out if he looked Chinese to me he doesn't but for the time back i have to say in can see how he pulled it off.
"The Lion's Bride" must've been an amazing performance.
Thanks for sharing this video I thought Harry houdini died in the water tank trick on stage?
Magic was his one true love to him it was a elevated performance art he didn’t do tricks he naturally presented the impossible.
Kalanag und Gloria... immer noch gut, was?

There is a trick 😂😂😂
This man was amazing and sparked, my true interest in Magic. Although my father actually fooled me the first time with a trick, where a washer was on a rope, and he was able to make a special knot to remove the washer from the rope. I bothered him for well over three months until he finally told me how it was done and after that I was hooked. Then I started doing magic simple stuff as a kid and more complex stuff as I got older. Now I still do magic and really enjoy, the look on peoples faces when they see something that is truly magical

Lord of the magic Rings!
The Unmasking of Robert Houdin - Harry Houdini
Houdini did come to believe that Robert-Houdin was some sort of fraud, which he most certainly was not.
I've never heard his voice before. It doesn't sound like I wouldn't expect, but that's just me. He always seemed like the ultimate stage of magician.
Some Magicians get this wrong! But the beauty of this illusion is that it’s examinable and can be done on a dance floor surrounded by people! Brilliant
King of Koins
I wish we still had magic like this . I’ve always wanted to know how people do this
Exquisitely flawless! My 😻 🪄 magician!
This scene was taped on location at "Astroland Amusement Park"at Coney Island,Bklyn,NYC for Bob McAllister's kids tv special"A Wonderama Magical Happening".
Internationaal erkend als de allergrootste goochelaar van zijn tijd.
Beautiful!
Amazing love this guy.
SUPER. Jammer dat hij er niet meer onder ons is 😢
I’m pretty sure he just swaps the ring out with a sleight of hand before putting it into the handkerchief, having it in his possession the entire time, and then places it into the orange tree device when he’s “cranking it up” so it comes out at the top. 🤷♂️
Do keep in mind the way the trick was presented by Mssr. Robert-Houdin. This gentleman approached it after handling the ring. Robert-Houdin would stay across the stage as an assistant brought out the tree from the far side, then would fire the gun and stay put. As said here, firing the gun would seemingly start the music, the flowers and the rest of the show.
I was very lucky to meet Dai Vernon (only once) in 1981 in Melbourne, Australia. He signed my copy of his book Dai Vernon Book of Magic.
Grand Illusions! When did all of those eps air? I have the two disc set but there are Way More eps than on those two discs! 🖖👀👽👽👽
Nothing short of flawless
Does anyone know what show this is being performed on?
please subscribe to me new magic channel ua-cam.com/video/hxfxiwDBnYo/v-deo.html
He looks like Homelander... 😯
Amazing. I wish more footage existed of this outstanding performer.
I saw him perform this in NYC in the 1960's. He was on stage with other greats such as John Mullholland and Roy Benson. Anyone else at that show?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 cheers Hollie ❤
viejo nazi
At 12:51 he didn't put the card to the middle of the deck. He put it right beneath the top card. If you look carefully, the top card drops after he puts the selected card underneath it
Always loved Slydini’s magic
🐇🎩Amazing footage!
Loved it 🙌
i wonder if he was somehow related to me? the Wingfield part of my surname isnt super common.
I still tear up watching their final show.. Truly masters of their craft.. They have left a huge void in magic, a void that can never be filled ever again.. Massive respect for S&R.. 🙏🏻😔
Wow! I’m glad his work has been preserved. Very entertaining! 👏👏👏
Dunninger inspired the character of The Shadow.
Hello, can i use the video ? Please respown
What is this from?
Great Slydini ! ❤
It was about this time when I was a teenager and had the great fortune of meeting The Professor and Doug as well as several other legends of magic back in the late 70s. I was the youngest magician in the room and Doug really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and welcome. Doug introduced me to The Professor and Vernon later introduced me to Slydini. It was a day that had the biggest impact on my magic and my life. Seeing these two legendary magicians on this video took me down memory lane. They each had their own unique influence on me and I am forever grateful to them.
This was back when magicians looked and acted like magicians instead of dancers and overly dramatic masters of corny performances.
Lots of abuse and toxicity in this. History’s pretty ugly, but it’s still nice to learn about
his whole act is him basically just throwing shit on his lap
❤❤❤
